Sewing Course – Sewing a patchwork blanket

Reviews: Average review: 5 Number of reviews: (2) Level: Beginner Category:

The sewing course is there to deepen one’s knowledge, to go further than the single workshops, at the same time taking the time (6 sessions) to realize a more complex project in order to become autonomous.

During this sewing course, we will make a short tip (quilted blanket).

Course 1: design, choice of colors, pattern design, cutting. (We will not need the sewing machine for the first class)
Course 2: learning assembly methods and sewing
Classes 3 and 4: assembly and quilting
Course 5 and 6: lining and finishing

Several colors and types of fabric will be made available to you to make your composition.  However, don’t hesitate to bring your own favorite fabrics or recycled clothes! The magic of a short tip is to give it a story with a multitude of fabrics.

Skills required: none, this workshop is open to all!

Price includes all materials and custom advice!

In addition to the 6 sessions, the sewing course gives you free access to 10 hours of workshop time, to work on your project between sessions.

The sessions of the course starting on February 20th will take place on Mondays February 20 and 27, March 6, 13 and 20 and – careful, there is a one week break – April 3rd from 6pm to 9pm.

NB: the workshop time is indicative, and it may take longer for some participants. It is therefore recommended that you do not schedule an appointment right after!
