Would you like to learn how to use a welding machine, understand the various welds and be able to create and repair a wide range of metal objects?
This 3-hour workshop has been designed to do just that. You’ll learn about
- – physical theory (metal behavior, temperatures, distortion, types of metal…)
- – the equipment needed for safe and enjoyable practice
- – soldering techniques (use of the soldering machine, points, rounds, waves, short and long soldering seams…)
We promise you intensive practice and lots of fun fastening pieces of metal together.
Skills required: none. This workshop is open to anyone who loves to create sparks!
The workshop includes all materials and tons of tips from a welding pro.
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. And although we offer a large apron and protective sleeves, long clothing is strongly recommended. Ideally not the clothes you hold most dear, in case a stray spark gets clumsily deposited.
