Would you like to discover the art of woodturning? Do you want to make useful objects that will impress your friends?

During this full-day training (6 hours), you will learn the basics of woodturning. Chloé, a cabinetmaker and passionate woodturner, will teach you the ABCs of chuck turning: roughing, hollowing, profiling, and sanding. You will learn about the wood lathe and other tools by making a small bowl and a soup plate!

Skills required: none, except the desire to experience this super zen discipline of woodworking.

Price includes materials, lots of pro tips, and plenty of wood chips!

Note: we will take a 30-minute break in the middle of the day. Don’t forget to take your lunch!

Chloé est très sympathique et nous met à l’aise pour travailler sur le tour à bois. L’atelier est bien planifié et on a le temps de tout mettre en pratique.

J’ai adoré mon atelier tour à bois avec Chloé. Enseignante compétente, vulgarise tout très bien, nous met à l’aise en tant que néophyte. Fille à la réception souriante et accueillante. Ambiance chaleureuse. Endroit propre et sécuritaire.
