You’d like to learn how to sew a reversible garment? Would you like to create and proudly wear linen made from fabrics from the circular economy?
In this 7-hour course (2 sessions of 3.5 hours each), Kathryn takes us into the world of recycling and offers us a great alternative for reusing small lengths of fabric: make a unique, personalized reversible top from scraps of all kinds!
We’ll cover the basics of sewing:
– Session 1: taking measurements; choosing fabric; tracing the pattern; cutting fabric; discovering the fundamentals of sewing and the machine; assembling a clamp; assembling parts.
– Session 2: lining assembly; support stitching; armhole and side assembly; hemming and finishing.
Skills required: none, this workshop is open to anyone interested in reusing materials.
If you have pieces of fabric that you’d like to transform, don’t hesitate to bring them along! (cotton – quantity: 2x 1m)
Price includes all necessary materials, lots of scraps and Kathryn’s good humor!
