Are you fascinated by stained glass and the colorful light that shines through it? Would you like to learn how to make a stained-glass window and go deeper into the techniques involved?

In this workshop of 4 sessions of 3-hour, Isabelle will guide you through the basic techniques of the copper ribbon method, also known as the Tiffany technique.

You’ll develop your skills by making a small modern panel and using the tools, while experimenting with the techniques.

You can expect to :

  • – Practice cutting and grinding glass.
  • – Choose your pattern, the glass and plan the cuts
  • – Cut and grind all parts
  • – Clean parts and apply copper tape
  • – Soldering, final cleaning and patina (if desired)

At the end of the course, you’ll leave with your own creation.

You’ll be able to choose from several patterns in different styles, and select the colors of your glass pieces from our inventory, made available to you for the course.

Skills required: none, this workshop is suitable for beginners.

The price includes tools, glass and accessories, as well as good advice from a stained glass expert.

This “Introduction course” in stained glass, unlike the shorter “Introduction training” in stained glass, allows you to take the time to learn the techniques in greater depth and achieve a final result with a more meticulous finish. The length of the course also enables you to better assimilate the entire stained glass-making process.
