Do you already have some knowledge in woodworking, but want to give yourself a new challenge? Would you like to work on a larger project that is useful in your daily life?

Then this course is for you!

A chair is not a simple object, both design and ergonomics must be taken into consideration. By completing this course, you will have a good enough foundation to make all the chairs you could possibly need.

This 6 session course, led by Guillaume, our cabinetmaker, will allow you to make your first solid wood chair from raw boards.

We will cover different techniques such as reading and understanding plans, planning the manufacturing process, preparing for machining, using project-specific templates, and complex gluing.

Type of wood used: local birch
Skills required: It is recommended to have participated in a wood induction workshop or a wood course with us.

In addition to the 6 sessions, this course gives you free access to 12 hours of independent workshop time to advance your chair between sessions.

The price includes all materials and the advice of a professional woodworker.

For the course starting May 16, the sessions will take place on the same days, at the same time, for 6 consecutive weeks. (Mondays May 16th, 23th, 30th and June 06th, 13th, 20th from 6 pm to 9 pm)
