Are you a gourmet who’s always wondered how to make fresh pasta? Would you like to impress your guests at dinner parties?
In this 3.5-hr workshop, Gilles will show you how to make fresh pasta by hand! Using a tabletop rolling mill and basic kitchen utensils, we’ll make three types of fresh pasta: tagliatelle, gnocchi and vegetarian ravioli.
After reviewing the necessary ingredients, we’ll learn how to knead and roll out the dough, cut the tagliatelle, shape the gnocchi and stuff the ravioli. Then we’ll go into the secrets of perfect “al dente” cooking!
Skills required: none! This workshop is open to all, whether you’re a passionate amateur, a aspiring chef or simply a gourmet.
The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment, raw materials and good humor!
Cooking workshops are held in the kitchen of the Centre de Ressources et d’Action Communautaire de la Petite-Patrie (CRACPP), at the corner of Drolet and Bélanger streets. We’ll let you know the exact address once you’ve registered.
Note: remember to bring your own containers so you can take home the products you’ve made.
